Is Bradley the next Indians' centerfielder? (Jim Rogash/Getty Images) |
Before you laugh, start putting all of the pieces together. First, Ken Rosenthal mentioned that the Indians are in the market to trade for an outfielder:
This morning, Chris Antonetti mentioned that the Indians were in flux regarding their outfield situation.#Indians still looking for help in outfield. Story:... https://t.co/Yg8BEJfEnP— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) March 21, 2016
This afternoon, the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo reported that the Indians have been "pitching a trade" to the Boston Red Sox because they "love Boston's young outfielders."
EverybodyHatesCleveland.com's Jeff Nomina, Michael Hattery and Jim Pete dive into the conspiracy theory surrounding a potential deal with the Boston Red Sox. Are the Indians after the untouchable Mookie Betts? Is Jackie Bradley Jr.'s potential golden glove and untapped potential on their radar again? Is the Cuban born (and unproven) Rusney Castillo, who is 28 and making $10 million a realistic consideration if the Red Sox eat some money?Trade talk around Red Sox heats up as camp winds down https://t.co/8KZjiLpX8u via @BostonGlobe— Nick Cafardo (@nickcafardo) March 23, 2016
We also take a look at why the Indians are talking to the Red Sox, who else they are likely talking to, and yeah, we get to Marcell Ozuna as well. Oh, and what about Tyler Naquin? Hasn't he earned it?
