As little as we can predict and project other positions, bullpens are an enigmatic minefield of foolish optimism. Yet, looking at the component parts of the Indians bullpen it is hard not to be optimistic about its success.The Indians bullpen is anchored by Cody Allen and it is hard to find more than a handful of relievers better than him in all of baseball. This anchor gives Jim and Mike optimism that everything in front of him will fall into place as the Indians have collected high impact arms to fight it out in spring training.
