Let the position battles begin--A TTN Roundtable--TTN Podcast #41

Here come the Indians.

The Cleveland Indians have headed off to Arizona, and are less than a week away from playing real, live baseball games. With most of the positions locked and loaded for the 2016 season, the focus should be on a few battles that could turn the tide of the Tribe's season.
  • Is Juan Uribe the right candidate to take over third base, or will Gio Urshela win the job at some point in 2015?

  • Can Trevor Bauer claim the fourth spot in the rotation, fall to fifth, or out of the rotation altogether?

  • Is Josh Tomlin a lock to make this rotation, especially because of his new two-year deal, and the Indians new-look, defensive-minded infield?

  • As always, will the bullpen find the pieces to put together something special, or just be a nightmare?

  • Who will claim positions in the outfield before, and after, Michael Brantley comes back from injury?
The answer to each question will likely decide whether or not the Cleveland Indians are pretenders, or contenders during the upcoming 2016 season.

Joe Coblitz (@BRBBlog) hosts as the best of the best from the Tribe Time Now family get together to talk about Spring Training and the upcoming season. Included are Jim Pete (@JimPeteEHC), Stephanie Liscio (@StephanieLiscio), Bob Toth (@TheBobToth) and Noah Gross (@Noah_Gross27) as the crew talk about their expectations of the 2016 Cleveland Indians.
